Fusilli With All-American BBQ Beef Sauce |

1 lb fusilli |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 onion, finely chopped |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 lb ground beef |
1/4 cup barbecue sauce |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes |
1/4 teaspoon liquid red pepper seasoning |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. 2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion; cook for 1 minute. Add Worcestershire sauce; cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until onion is softened. Add beef; saute, uncovered, breaking up with a wooden spoon, for 3 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Stir in barbecue sauce, crushed tomatoes and red pepper seasoning; cook for 3 minutes. 3. Pour hot sauce over hot cooked pasta on a serving platter. Top with cheddar cheese. |
