1 cup walnuts, chopped |

1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups icing sugar, sifted |
1/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Blend together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. 2. Melt butter over low heat in a large saucepan. Remove from heat. 3. Stir in cocoa. Beat in brown sugar, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients and walnuts. 4. Spray a 9-inch square pan. Spread batter in pan. Bake in a 350F oven for 40 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool completely. Spread Fudgy Icing. 5. FUDGY ICING: Melt butter over low heat in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa and vanilla. Stir in icing sugar and milk until smooth and of spreading consistency. 6. TIP: You should always be sure to store your eggs in the body of the refrigerator and not in the door to ensure they are kept at a consistently cooler temperature. Eggs should also be kept in the carton as they absorb the smell and flavor of the other foods around them. |
