We love the flavor combination of chocolate and banana. Once when I had no chocolate chips on hand, I made these moist muffins with chunks of chocolate bars instead. My husband likes them even better this way, since they have big bites of chocolate. -Kristin Wagner, Spokane, Washington Ingredients:
1-1/4 cups king arthur unbleached all-purpose flour |
1 cup king arthur premium 100% whole wheat flour |
3/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 medium ripe bananas, mashed |
1-1/4 cups milk |
1 egg |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
6 milk chocolate candy bars (1.55 ounces each) |
