This is a rich chocolate cheesecake that is great for the holidays. Recipe from Hershey's. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
1/3 cup hershey's® cocoa |
1/3 cup butter ; melted |
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips |
24 ounces cream cheese ; softened |
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk |
4 eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 300 degrees. 2. Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa and melted butter. Press firmly onto bottom of 9 springform pan. 3. In heavy saucepan, over very low heat, melt chips, stirring constantly. 4. In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. 5. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. 6. Add melted chips and remaining ingredients, mix well. 7. Pour into prepared pan. 8. Bake 1 hour and 5 minutes or until center is set. 9. Cool; chill. 10. Refrigerate leftovers. |
