Here's a recipe for brownies using sweetened condensed milk and a baking mix. Its an easy recipe that your child could help you prepare. This recipes makes one of the fudgiest and rich brownies that I've ever had the pleasure of baking at home. Ingredients:
2 cups (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/4 cup butter |
2 cups biscuit baking mix |
1 (14-ounce) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk) |
1 egg, beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 to 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. In large saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup chocolate chips with butter. 3. Remove from heat. 4. Add biscuit mix, EAGLE BRAND®, egg and vanilla. 5. Stir in nuts and remaining 1 cup chips. 6. Turn into a well-greased 13x9-inch baking pan. (Or release aluminum in the bottom of the pan!) 7. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of pan. 8. Cool. 9. Cut into squares. 10. (**Thanks to for the pic and the recipe!) 11. *This makes 2 dozen small squares. |
