Got this recipe at a cookie swap. Putting it here for safekeeping. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons heavy cream |
1 cup coconut flakes |
2 cups graham cracker crumbs |
2 cups powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 cup butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
1 tablespoon heavy cream |
1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted |
Directions:
1. Melt Butter and 1 oz chocolate then add next six ingredients. 2. Press into bottom of lightly greased pan. Chill. 3. Cream 1/4 cup of butter, add remaining 3 ingredients and beat until smooth and creamy. 4. Spread evenly over base in pan. 5. Chill. 6. Melt last 1 1/2 oz chocolate and spread quickly on top of cream layer. 7. Chill. 8. Cut into small Squares. 9. No larger than 2x2 as these are very rich cookies. 10. Makes one 9x9 pan. |
