This sauce can transform ice cream or other desserts into a delicious delight! Or, you can use this sauce in your fondue pot with your favorite dippers for a sweet treat! Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can evaporated milk |
2 cups sugar |
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Heat milk and sugar to rolling boil, stirring constantly. 2. Boil and stir 1 minute. 3. Add chocolate, stirring until melted. 4. Beat over heat until smooth. 5. (If sauce has slightly curdled appearance, beat vigorously until creamy smooth). 6. Remove from heat; blend in butter, vanilla, and salt. |
