Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate |
4 eggs |
1 pinch salt |
2 cups sugar |
1 cup flour, sifted |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. Grease a 9 square baking pan. 3. Melt butter and chocolate in small saucepan over low heat. 4. Stir to blend and set aside to cool. 5. Beat eggs until light yellow; add salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder. 6. Beat well. 7. Blend in cooled chocolate, vanilla and pecans. 8. Blend thouroughly. 9. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. 10. Cool before cutting. |
