Looks really good for a special weekend breakfast. Ingredients:
1 medium firm banana, sliced |
4 slices texas toast thick bread |
2 teaspoons powdered sugar, divided |
2 large strawberries, sliced |
1 egg |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 teaspoons butter |
Directions:
1. Place banana slices on two slices of toast. 2. Sprinkle each with 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar. 3. Top with strawberries and remaining toast. 4. In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. 5. Dip toast in egg mixture, coating both sides. 6. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. 7. Cook toast for 2-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. 8. Sprinkle with remaining powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup. |
