Fruity Corned Beef and Cabbage |

A nice recipe for the holidays, or a fine family dinner. Ingredients:
2 medium onions, sliced |
1 (2 1/2-3 1/2 lb) corned beef brisket |
1 cup apple juice |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 tablespoon finely shredded orange peel |
6 whole cloves |
2 teaspoons prepared mustard |
6 cabbage, wedges |
Directions:
1. Place onions in slow cooker, then place beef on top of onions. 2. Combine apple juice, brown sugar, orange peel, cloves, and mustard, and pour over meat. 3. Place cabbage on top. 4. Cover, cook on low for 10-12 hours, or on high for 5-6 hours. |
