5 A Day Kids Cookbook came up with this recipe. And it's so fun for the kids to do and super tasty and healthy too! Ingredients:
2 cups chopped fresh pineapple |
1 cup frozen raspberries, thawed |
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt |
1 medium banana, peeled and sliced |
1/3 cup chopped dates |
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted |
Directions:
1. In sundae glasses, layer the pineapple, raspberries, yogurt, banana and dates. 2. Sprinkle the top with almonds. Serve and enjoy. |
