From a really old Rival cookbook. Ingredients:
6 pork chops, 1 inch thick |
2 tablespoons cooking oil |
6 tart apples, cored and thickly sliced |
1/4 cup dired currants |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
salt |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, brown pork chops in oil. Sprinkle with salt during browning. Drain well. 2. Place chops in a crock pot. 3. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours. |
