This cake is extremely moist gooey and moist. I know the name does not sound great but it is super moist wet almost. With topping that is gooey, wet and oh this is so good. It takes a can of fruit cocktail . The topping is gooey with coconut and butter and milk. Read more . I can't tell you enough how delicious this is. I am not a fruitcocktail fan but I love this recipe. The cake turns brown from all the juice and sugar in the can fruitcocktail.
Ingredients:
mix and pour into 9x13 pan bake 350 for 35 minutes
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 large can (16 ounces) fruit cocktail, undrained
Directions:
1. Topping:
2. BOIL 10 minutes
3. 1 stick butter
4. 1 cup evaporated milk
5. 1 1/2 cup coconut
6. 1 cup sugar
7. Pour over hot cake. Cool
