Can be prepared in 45 minutes or less. Ingredients:
a 3-ounce package cream cheese |
1 tablespoon minced peeled fresh gingerroot |
thin slices of fruitcake |
Directions:
1. In a bowl stir together the cream cheese, softened, and the gingerroot and chill the mixture for 30 minutes. Spread the ginger cream cheese on the fruitcake. Makes about 1/2 cup ginger cream cheese. |
