This is really rich and we often have it as a sweet..It is quick and easy after the nights soaking Ingredients:
1 kg mixed fruit |
100 g chocolate with fruit and nuts |
2 cups wholemeal self-rising flour |
Directions:
1. Soak the fruit overnight in 2 cups of strong black coffee. next day add the block of chocolate cut into very small pieces.Add the 2 cups of s.r. flour and mix well. 2. Cook in a lamington tin - 20cmsx28cms - in a moderate oven (180deg) for 45 minutes or until firm to touch. |
