I came up with this six-ingredient recipe when experimenting in the kitchen one day. The smoothies are refreshing and make a wholesome, nutrition-packed snack. They're also a great way to get going in the morning.Bryce Sickich, New Port Richey, Florida Ingredients:
3/4 cup fat-free milk |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce |
1 small ripe banana, halved |
1/2 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries |
7 to 10 ice cubes |
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 3 servings. |
