I received this recipe from a coworker many years ago. This is great beverage to serve at a special party.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup tang orange crystals
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups water
2 cups cranberry juice
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Directions:
1. Day before: Mix all ingredients together.
2. Pour into a clean container for freezing. Hint: I use a clean 1/2 gallon cardboard milk carton.
3. Remove from freezer approximately an hour before serving.
4. Place in punch bowl.
5. Add 1 quart ginger ale.
6. Stir until slushy.
