This is a recipe that I use at work and also at home with our son. It's high fibre, but don't forget to drink plenty of fluids to help it work if you are constipated. I usually only make half the recipe at home. Ingredients:
1 cup prune |
1 cup raisins |
1 cup dates |
2 cups prune juice |
Directions:
1. Put everything in a pot on the stove bring to a boil. 2. Reduce heat to a simmer until liquid is absorbed. 3. Put in blender or food processor and puree. 4. Cool. 5. Keep in sealed container in fridge. 6. Use 2 tablespoons a day on muffins, toast, crackers etc, even alone is good. |
