Fruit Kabobs With Margarita Dip |

This is one of my go-to desserts from years gone by! lol not sure where I first heard it. I usually have the stuff to make this, so, for us it's great when unexpected gusts arrive. The frozen sara lee pound cake works great, and any assortment of fruit will work. Read more . Play with it and have fun! Ingredients:
dip |
1/2 cup sour cream |
3 ounces cream cheese, cut up and softened |
1/4 cup sifted powdered sugar |
1 tbs tequila |
1 tbs orange juice concentrate |
1 tbs lime juice |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
kabobs |
angel and/or pound cake cubes |
assorted fresh fruit |
Directions:
1. Place sour cream, cream cheese, powdered sugar, tequila, orange juice concentrate, and lime juice in a blender container or food processor bowl. 2. Cover; blend or process until combined. 3. Add whipping cream. 4. Cover, blend or process until fluffy. 5. Serve immediately or cover and chill up to 24 hours. 6. KABOBS 7. Assemble small skewers of cake and fruit on a serving platter. Serve with dip. Makes 1-3/4 cups dip. |
