Ingredients:
fruit sauce |
1/2 cup blueberries |
1/2 cup raspberries |
1/2 cup strawberries |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup white wine |
1/4 cup raspberry liqueur |
2 large eggs |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon almond extract |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
1 tablespoon sugar |
2 ounces heavy cream |
4 slices baguette |
4 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Cook the fruit, sugar, wine and liqueur for 15 minutes, then strain well. Add a little corn syrup for a thicker sauce. 2. French Toast: 3. Mix together the eggs, vanilla, almond extract, cinnamon, sugar, and cream. Dip the bread in the mixture to coat thoroughly. Heat the butter in a pan over high heat, and cook the bread until golden brown on both sides. Serve with Fruit Sauce. |
