Fruit Cup with Lime Syrup |

Mango, kiwi, and pineapple are enhanced with a little lime syrup for a tangy, and not incidentally yellow and green, fruit salad. Ingredients:
1 (3 1/2-pound) extra-sweet pineapple, quartered lengthwise, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch pieces |
2 firm-ripe large mangoes, peeled, pitted, and cut into 1/2-inch pieces |
6 kiwis, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces |
3 cups green seedless grapes (1 pound), halved |
1/2 cup lime syrup (with or without green food coloring) |
Directions:
1. Toss together all ingredients and chill, covered, at least 1 hour. 2. Cooks' note: Fruit can be cut 1 day ahead and chilled, without syrup, covered. Toss with syrup before serving. |
