a sweet, tangy fruit crumble with oats, served with lashings of ice-cream Ingredients:
250g fruit (apples, blueberries, blackberries) |
a squeeze of lemon juice |
1/4 cup oats |
2 oz butter |
1/2 cup plain flour |
1/2 cup desiccated coconut |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 180C. Peel, core and chop fruit. Place fruit in the bottom of a cassarole. Pour a little water and a squeeze of lemon juice over fruit. 2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, add dry ingredients and mix well. Lay the dry ingredients over the fruit and bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes or until fruit is cooked. |
