A quick, versatile, delicious, seems like you worked in the kitchen all afternoon dessert that takes just about 5 minutes to put together and 30 minutes to bake. Ingredients:
18 ounces cake mix |
1 cup butter, melted |
2 1/2 cups oats |
1/2 cup nuts |
16 -20 ounces jam, jelly, preserves, pie filling |
Directions:
1. Preheat to 375. 2. Mix cake mix, butter, oats and nuts. 3. Press 3/4 of oat mixture in 9 x 13 pan. 4. Spread fruit on oat mixture. 5. Sprinkle remaining oat mixture on top of fruit. 6. Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. 7. Cut into bars - serve plain, topped with ice cream, dairy whip or whatever - . |
