Fruit Cocktail Glazed Salad |

A super easy fruit salad made special by a glaze made from the canned fruit's reserved juice. Cook time is refrigeration time. Ingredients:
2 apples, diced |
2 bananas, sliced |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can fruit cocktail in light syrup, drained with juice reserved |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained with juice reserved |
3 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 cup water |
Directions:
1. Combine all fruit together in a large bowl. 2. Combine reserved juices, cornstarch, and water in a small saucepan. Over med-high heat bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Pour over fruit, mix well. Refrigerate 2 hours or until cold. Enjoy! |
