This recipe came from a local group's cook book. This is a nice dessert. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 cups flour |
1 cup fruit cocktail |
1 cup evaporated milk |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 lb butter |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients until smooth. 2. Grease pan of your choice. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done. 4. For frosting mix and cook for 10 minutes at boiling. Remove from heat and add 1 cup coconut and 1 cup chopped nuts. 5. Spread on cake. |
