From Mom's notebooks. Makes enough for a 10-12 lb turkey, or 2-3 chickens. Ingredients:
5 cups cooked white rice |
2 cups chopped celery |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1/2 cup dried apricot, diced |
1/2 cup dried prune, diced |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 teaspoon dried marjoram |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Stuff into poultry and cook as directed, or pack into buttered 8 cup baking dish and bake at 350F 30-40 min until hot and top is browned. |
