Frozen Yogurt Topped with Broiled Glazed Apples (Michele Urvater) |

Ingredients:
1 pint frozen vanilla yogurt |
2 golden delicious apples, cored, peeled and cut into rings, about 1/4-inch thick |
1 to 2 tablespoons melted butter |
2 tablespoons sugar |
chopped nuts for garnish, optional |
Directions:
1. Set rings on a broiler rack and dip them in butter and broil, turning once for 4 to 6 minutes or until they begin to turn brown. Dust one side with sugar and set broiler pan close to heat source and roil until the sugar melts. Serve rings over ice cream and top with chopped nuts if you wish. |
