Try this frozen ice cream dessert for your next party! Wow, the sugar rush! Ingredients:
2 pkg soft ladyfingers( 3 oz each ) |
1/2 cup coffee liquer or strong breweed coffee |
6 oz semi sweet or bitter choclate chips melted |
14 oz sweetened condensed milk |
1 container ( 1 1/2 qts ) coffee ice cream |
8 oz cream cheese sotened |
2 tbs sugar |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 cup fresh whipped cream or 1 cup thawed frozen whipped topping |
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder |
fresh strawberries for garnish |
Directions:
1. Line a 9 inch springform pan with lady fingers, brush with coffee liquer. 2. freeze at least 20 minutes 3. Combine melted choclate with condendes milk and chill 10 minutes. 4. Scoop 1/2 of the ice cream into the prepared pan, pressing and smoothing itno an even layer 5. Evenly top with the chocolate mixture 6. Scoop in remaining ice cream and spread smoothly and evenly. 7. Cover and freeze at least 5 hours or overnight. 8. To serve: remove sides and arrange on serving platter. 9. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanill and fold in whipped cream or topping. 10. Evenly spread over cake and dust with the cocoa. 11. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired |
