Ingredients:
3 cups cream |
1/2 cup amaretto |
4 eggs |
8 egg yolks |
1 cup granulated sugar |
3/4 cup crushed amaretti cookie |
amaretti cookie crumbs (for finishing) |
Directions:
1. Whip cream, gradually adding amaretto and refrigerate. 2. Combine eggs, yolks and sugar in bowl of mixer, whisk over simmering water until hot and slightly thickened, then whip cold on medium speed. 3. Fold in cream and crumbs. 4. Mold and freeze. 5. Finish top with crumbs. |
