FROZEN ORANGE SHERBET SALAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Ritchie Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1984. Ingredients:
1 cup boiling water |
1 small package orange gelatin |
1 small package lemon gelatin |
1 pint orange sherbet |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
1 can crushed pineapple with juice |
1 can drained mandarin oranges |
Directions:
1. Dissolve gelatins in boiling water then add sherbet and vinegar. 2. Stir in pineapple, juice and oranges then chill several hours before serving. |
