1 fruit and 1/2 milk exchange. This came from Better Homes and Garden's Eat and Stay Slim. I have not tried this, just posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1 large firm ripe banana, peeled and sliced into large chunks, frozen |
1 cup skim milk |
non calorie liquid artificial sweetener (equal to 2 tbl sugar) |
1 dash nutmeg |
Directions:
1. When banana is frozen, combine in blender with milk, liquid sweetner, and nutmeg. 2. Blend just till mixture is thick and frosty. Serve immediately. |
