1/2c. shortening |
1 c. sugar |
2 eggs |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1 tsp. baking powder |
1 tsp. soda |
1/2 tsp. salt |
4 ozs. cream chesse |
1 1/2 c. applesauce |
2 c. flour |
2 tbsp. butter, melted |
3/4 c. brown sugar |
1/2 c. chopped nuts |
1 tsp. cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. A baking powder, soda, salt, cream cheese and applesauce. Beat. mix in flour. Pour into two, 9x9 inch pans. 2. Mix and sprinkle over batter: Butter, brown sugar, chopped nuts, cinnamon. 3. place pans into freezer bags and freeze. Bake frozen coffeecakes in a 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes ou clean. |
