This sounds like it might be interesting love strawberries. Ingredients:
crush |
1 c. flour |
1/4 c. brown sugar |
1/2 c. chopped nuts |
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine |
mix together and spread in a shallow pan. |
bake 15 minutes at 350 (or until brown) . . . .stirring occasionally...cool. |
Directions:
1. FILLING:
2. 2 egg whites
3. 1/4 c. sugar
4. 2 Tbsps. lemon juice
5. 16 0z. of frozen strawberries
6. Large kool whip

8. Thaw berries about 10 minutes . . . .mix together egg whites, sugar, juice and strawberries. . . beat at high speed until stiff peaks form (about 10-15 minutes). . . .fold-in kool whip. . . .sprinkle about 2/3 crust mixture over the bottom of a 9 X 13 inch dish . . .spoon on filling an sprinkle with crust.
9. Freeze until serving time.
