I got this recipe from Tastefully Simple's So Simple magazine (May/June 07), and I made it for a summer potluck. It is DELICIOUS, and it really hits the spot on a hot day. Ingredients:
1 quart strawberries, hulled |
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened |
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed |
2 tsp. lemon zest |
Directions:
1. Place softened ice cream in a large bowl. 2. Puree strawberries in a food processor. 3. Add strawberries, lemonade, and zest to the bowl of ice cream. 4. Mix untl well blended. 5. Pour into a 9x13x2 pan and freeze overnight. 6. Thaw 15 minutes before serving. |
