Wonderful chocolate shells with mint chocolate chip ice cream or your favorite flavor! Ingredients:
shells |
1 pkg devil's food cake mix |
3/4c water |
3/4c ready to spread chocolate fudge frosting |
1/4c oil |
filling |
6c mint chocolate chip or your favorite ice cream,softened |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. Generously grease bottom,sides and rim of 2 9 pie pans or round cake pans. In a large bowl,blend all shell ingredients;beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Spread 1/2 batter(21/4c) in bottom of each pan. Do not spread up siides of pan. 2. Bake at 350 for 25-30 mins Do Not Overbake!. Cakes will collapse to form shells. Cool completely. 3. In large bowl,blend ice cream unti smooth. Spread in center of each shell. Heat remaining frosting and spread by tsp. fulls on top of cake. Swirl with knife. Freeze at least 2 hours,store in freezer. |
