Incredibly easy and festive. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups corn flakes, crushed |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, melted |
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1 cup whipped topping |
1 (16 ounce) can cranberry sauce (whole berry-style) |
Directions:
1. Combine cornflakes and butter in a medium bowl; press mixture firmly and evenly into a lightly greased 9-inch pie pan. 2. Bake at 350 degrees F. 3. for 8 minutes. 4. Cool completely. 5. Beat cream cheese until fluffy; fold in whipped topping. 6. Mash cranberry sauce with a fork; fold into cream cheese mixture. 7. Spoon filling into cooled crust; freeze until firm. 8. Remove from freezer 15 to 20 minutes before serving. 9. Garnish with additional whipped topping, if desired. |
