Frosting for Pumpkin Spice Cake |

This is the frosting I prefer for the Pumpkin Spice Cake. Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened |
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest |
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice |
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar |
1/4 cup pumpkin puree |
Directions:
1. Cream butter with pumpkin pie spice and lemon zest.
2. Blend in cream cheese.
3. Add confectioners sugar and beat until smooth.
4. Use to frost the Pumpkin Spice Cake.
