A simple and sweet dessert, great for company or potlucks! Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 eggs |
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained |
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. In bowl combine cake ingredients; mix well. 2. Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan. 3. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes. 4. Cool completely. 5. For frosting, in mixing bowl combine frosting ingredients; beat until smooth. 6. Frost cake. |
