Ingredients:
2 egg whites |
1 cup sugar |
2 tbsp water |
1 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp each ground cloves, cinnamon and allspice |
4 cups hazelnuts |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, lightly beat egg whites. add suar, water, salt and spices; mix well. Let stand for 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Add hazelnuts; stir gently to coat. 2. Spread into 2 greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pans. Bake at 275 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until crisp. remove to waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight containers. |
