Ingredients:
6 cups water |
2 (8-ounce) bottles clam juice |
2 pounds small red potatoes (about 10 potatoes) |
2 tablespoons old bay seasoning |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
4 garlic cloves, minced |
2 bay leaves |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons hot sauce |
2 pounds smoked turkey sausage, cut into 20 pieces |
5 ears corn (about 3 pounds) each cut crosswise into 4 pieces |
2 pounds unpeeled medium shrimp |
Directions:
1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a 10-quart stock pot; bring to a boil. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or until potatoes are just tender. Add sausage; cook 5 minutes. Add corn and shrimp; cover and cook 4 minutes or until shrimp are done. Drain. Discard bay leaves, and serve immediately. |
