Hoppin' legs... Ingredients:
16 large frog legs (skinned) |
3 c. boiling water |
juice of 1/2 lemon |
salt & pepper |
2 eggs, beaten |
2 c. bread crumbs (seasoned, or you can add your own seasonings to taste) |
oil to fry |
Directions:
1. Mix water, lemon juice, salt & pepper and bring to a boil. 2. Heat fryer to 370 degrees (you need enough oil to cover the legs) 3. Boil the legs in water mixture for 5 minutes. 4. Drain the water, and pat the legs dry. 5. Dip the legs in the eggs, then cover in the crumbs. 6. Drop them in the hot oil. 7. Let fry for 2-3 minutes, or until they're golden brown and tender. |
