adapted from Three Dog Bakery Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
1 cup rolled oats |
1 cup oat bran |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 apples, diced and peeled |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 egg |
1/4 cup honey |
3 tablespoons canola oil |
1/4 cup walnuts |
1 cup skim milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400*. 2. In a bowl, combine flour, oats, oat bran, baking soda and cinnamon. 3. Add apples, raisins, egg, honey oil and walnuts. 4. Stir thoroughly. Add milk and mix thoroughly. 5. Spoon batter into a greased muffin tin so that cups are three-quarters full and bake for 20-25 minutes. 6. Cool before serving and store in a sealed container. |
