Ingredients:
3 slice(s) bacon |
1/2 cup(s) bell pepper, chopped |
1 can(s) black beans, drained (15 oz) |
1 can(s) diced tomatoes, not drained |
1 clove(s) garlic, minced |
1/2 cup(s) onion, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon(s) oregano |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and leave bacon drippings in pan. Crumble the bacon and set it aside. 2. Add onion and pepper to pan. Cook over medium for about 2 minutes. Add minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Stir in bacon, beans, undrained tomatoes, and oregano. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. |
