Refried Pinto Beans just like my mother makes them......the old fashion way Ingredients:
4 cups pinto beans (boiled) |
3 teaspoons lard |
4 ounces monterey jack cheese |
Directions:
1. Boil 4 cups pinto beans in water for 2 hours until soft and tender. 2. heat u p a skillet add lard and heat until almost smoking. 3. add beans and heat up until they reach a hard boil. Mash and continue to boil for about 3 minuets. 4. Serve and add cheese to taste. Eat with either corn or flour tortillas. |
