Easy and tasty, these potato wedges are fried and then sprinkled with simple seasoning and cheese. Ingredients:
small red potatoes |
oil, i used olive oil |
salt |
pepper mix (your favorite) |
shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Cut potatoes into small wedges (6 or more per potato) 2. Heat oil over medium heat until drops of water dance on top. 3. Cook potatoes in batches (depending on size of pan using). They should be submerged in the oil completely. 4. Cook until outside turns golden brown. 5. Remove with slotted spoon onto paper towel covered plate. 6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper mix. Let cool 30 sec and sprinkle with some cheese. 7. Repeat these last steps for all the batches layering the potatoes on the plate. |
