A tasty side dish! Every year at my church's annual fish fry these potatoes are included on the menu. Everyone looks forward to this treat! Great with pork chops! Very easy to prepare. Cut potatoes into thick round wheels . Ingredients:
3 medium sweet potatoes or 3 medium yams |
vegetable oil (for frying) |
salt |
Directions:
1. Cut potatoes in round wheels about 1/2 inch thick and immediately immerse in water to not discolor. 2. Drain and pat dry with paper towel. Fry on low heat until golden brown and stick tender in the middle. 3. Place on paper towels and salt immediately. 4. Serve and enjoy! |
