Fried Stuffed Squash Blossoms |

This littal dish is a grait starter that would og nice with any pasta main. Ingredients:
filling |
1lb racota chz. |
lg. pinch chiffonade basil |
lg. pinch chopped parsli |
1 tbsp. minced garlic |
wash |
2 c ap flower |
egg whites ( whiped to a froth) |
milk |
Directions:
1. In a sm. to lg .mixing bowl . mix together all the ingredients for the filling. 2. Useing a tsp. or a Tbsp. gently stuff each blossom with filling and set aside 3. In a med. to lg. mixing bowl. mix together flower egg whites and milk to disierd consistancy 4. ( note: egg whites and milk parts will vary some) 5. Drege stuffed blossoms in batter 6. Gently drop blossoms into 350dagre fryer or into a med. to lg. stoke pot of cooking oil at same temp.( use care if in pot fill only about 1/2 way). Let fry till goldin brown( about 30sec.) 7. place on plate lined with paper towel to drayn off oil 8. place 2 blossoms on a side plate 1 on top the other 9. Garnish with red souce and chives |
