Crispy side dish Ingredients:
12 large squash blossoms, washed and drained |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 cup flour |
1 cup water |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne |
1/2 teaspoon turmeric |
1/2 cup oil |
Directions:
1. Combine eggs, flour, water and seasonings to make batter. 2. Dip blossoms in batter until well coated, then fry in hot fat (375 degrees) until golden brown 3. Drain on absorbent paper and serve warm. |
