Ingredients:
1 cup thinly sliced shallots
3 tablespoons salad oil
Directions:
1. In an 8- to 10-inch frying pan over medium-high heat, stir 1 cup thinly sliced shallots in 3 tablespoons salad oil until golden and crisp, 7 to 9 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Use warm or at room temperature.
