Fried Rice with Ham and Peas |

Ingredients:
2 teaspoons dark sesame oil |
1/2 cup frozen green peas |
1/2 cup sliced green onions (about 2 onions) |
1 1/4 cups cooked long-grain rice |
1/2 cup diced low-sodium ham |
1 large egg, lightly beaten |
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce |
1 tablespoon water |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add peas and onions; sauté 3 minutes or until tender. Add rice and ham; cook until thoroughly heated. Push rice mixture to the sides of the pan, forming a well in the center. 2. Add egg to well, and cook until set, stirring occasionally. Stir rice mixture into egg mixture. Stir in soy sauce and water. |
